This guide was written for the Steam version of the game on both Windows and Mac.If you are transferring over the same platform, things should work out even better, I suppose. All your levels will be there additionally, you will not lose your bandages, 'A+'s and most probably your unlocked characters. Every other aspect of the save file seems to transfer over well cross-platform.For me, it's not that big of a deal, but if you care about the replays, they don't seem to work, although you may still be able to play them on a Windows machine later. Besides, when I tried to save replays on Mac, they wouldn't show in the replay menu. I couldn't get the replays from Windows to work on Mac.Yes, you can transfer the save folder between Windows and OS X!.For some reason, Team Meat didn't enable Steam Cloud for this game, although the save files are cross-platform compatible. Of course with a game like this, when you get a new computer and re-download the game from Steam, you will want to transfer your saved game from your old computer rather than play the whole game again. What im saying is if you even slightly enjoy the prototype, you will LOVE SMB! For more info on Super Meat Boy check out -Team Meat. SMB, will play very differently and is 100% new. This is NOT Super Meat Boy! Its simply the flash prototype that Super Meat Boy was based off of. Super Meat Boy is a tough as nails platformer where you play as an animated cube of meat who's trying to save his girlfriend (who happens to be made of bandages) from an evil fetus in a jar wearing a tux.Our meaty hero will leap from walls, over seas of buzz saws, through crumbling caves and pools of old needles.
